This is also the home of the The Gravesend Journal. Publishing documentary photography stories from Gravesend and the wider Gravesham community. My health has forced me to pause for a while, but I’m aiming to restart documenting stories in early 2027. You can read more on The Gravesend Journal page.
I’m self-studying the history of European conflict photography and its representation in the media. I don’t have an end in mind; I study because I’m interested and I enjoy the process.
None of the posts here is necessarily finished. Think of them more as my thoughts at the time. I aim to revisit and update them often.
I’ve recently been struggling with Antidepressant Withdrawal Syndrome. Having stopped taking Amitriptyline in July 2025, I found it difficult to find personal accounts of others going through the same. I hope my experience helps someone. If you’re interested, you can read more here.
